Thread: Friggin' schedule.

  1. #1
I usually work 1 weekend shift per month and I had it set in my mind that was Sunday 2:00-10:00.

I have my beer, I have my movie and I was talking to a friend about what he was up to tonight. I mentioned that I was working tomorrow evening and he said, "Odd, Ken said he was working then."

    O RLY, I said.

Good news, I'm not working this Sunday after all. Wahoo!

Bads news, I due at work in 20 minutes. Hell, my mindset is so totally not interested in work. Time to grab some coffee and get my gameface on.

Wouldn't have really mattered had I not checked the schedule, someone would have called looking for me, but good thing it's a little early for the drink.

Screw you guys and your "I have Saturday off" attitudes.
Aren't we in the trust tree, thingey?

    Pshaw, hobbes.
I work every Saturday from 10-6.

Then again, I could drink at work if I felt like it.
None of my customers would know the difference....

Well, I didn't work today, but I wasn't off, either.

A day at home is just another work day, but without any deadlines or clocks.

There where of things IS important, though.

The noises one can conjure as background are much more pleasant around the house.

Do you normally shift around, Hobbes?

What on Earth does that mean.

I tried to use the context to interpret it, but I couldn't understand that either.
