Anyways do I really need a twin 12v rail? My parts don't use THAT much power, and my pic-E video card is a radeon rather than a power-hungry nvidia 6*** card.

If going single 12V rail, I'll go with this:

    Superflower 550W TT-550SS
    Cost: $54.99
    Rails: +3.3V@35A, +5V@50A, +12V@30A
    Hold Time: 16ms
    Cooling: 1x120mm LED
    PFC: No
    Mobo: 20pin

If I go twin 12V rail, it's gonna be a bit more expansive:

    Enermax 420W EG425P-VE SFMA 2.0
    Cost: $76.00
    Rails: +3.3V@30A, +5V@30A, +12V1@18A, +12V2@18A
    Hold Time: 17ms
    Cooling: 2x80mm
    PFC: No
    Mobo: 20pin

I think these 2 psus should suffice?

btw, how do i know if my mobo is 20 or 24 pin?

Clocker will admit to being fond of naps.
Nothing of importance happens between 1-3PM anyway.

Well. let's see...you could look at the board...or RTFM...or see either of Lynx's or my previous posts...NM...I don't know how you can tell.
    Now.
    About the PSU.
You seem strangely attracted to marginal power supplies.
Buy this one and let's move on.

You haven't even mentioned what kind of frammistan you are getting, much less the placement of the ion-beam impellors.

There is sooo much more to do....

lol u go right ahead, i have to wait till weekend to get another PSU.

Just don't fry ur parts with static electricity in the meantime. Always use ur finggers to touch something metallic before poking at ur parts.

I suspect that static electricity will be the least of our problems this weekend.

    Oh yes, very true.
No one has a problem offering aid to the needy but you must allow a bit of fun or it gets incredibly boring.
IMO, the sarcasm level here is quite gentle.
