I don't understand. You just said that you didn't dare turn it on. Then you say that it flickers when you turn it off. How can you turn off something that isn't on?

You turned it on and it was ok until you turned it off, then it flickered?????

Where can I get one of those? My screen just goes dark when I turn it off, yours sounds much more entertaining.

If something broke, I believe it would shut off immediately (or possibly burn while it continues to run in a massively haywire state possibly sparking out an end or so). Give us some more information eh.
