    I had a programme called "Maxmem" on my old PC, It's supposed to free up memory, & make your machine run faster.
    Does any body know weather it actually works?
    I know you can't always go by the feedback on downloads.com, as mamy of them are biased

    I saw something on techtv about these programs if you look around their site you may be able to find the article
    well anyway it pretty much said that they would help on older operating systems but not really on xp or mac os x because they already do a good job at this.
