    I did my own slipstream of XP VLK & SP2 using Neowin's Autostreamer.

    Then I took that CD. Which is around 580MB. Then I cut out all the shit I didn't want using nLite. Used their NET runtime so I didn't have to install shit .NET framework . And now my install disk is around 299MB.

    Both were real EASY! I suggest you stay away from somebody elses distro & make your own.

    I installed a slipstream once, was the worst decision ive ever made.... Installed a shitload of virus's.

    yea, i figure it's too tempting to include a trojan or two hidden within your distro

    Oh easy to do your own tho , install drivers ,settings, all your programs . There's a guide on this site somewhere .

    Do they normally run faster than installing windows and later installing the same applications? I figure they might...for awhile that is. (before windows starts getting fat and lazy)

    Yes, I would really like to learn how to do that sometime. I figure designing my own custom VLK distro would be quite abit simpler than installing each individual application, driver and update after a reformat.

    Just get AutoStreamer & nLite. That's all it takes. Besides XP VLK CD & SP2.
