A friend of line called me today to tell that 3 modded Xbox 360's were sold on eBay.

He said they were red and one started at $800 and went for $2300.

I told him that they were probably fake.

Pretty slick that, besides the added laptop HD, it's not modded like we all would want....meaning hacked.

yea looks cool but takes a pro like 30-60 min to make it. I read this thing somewhere and they can make a whole batch quickly and make 1000's in profits.

A bit of paint, red lights and tools. And HD's arent expensive today.

I was told there is this Selfbooting disc out there that allows you 2 play multiple copied games. Appereantly the story is that with the rush Microsoft had with getting his stuff out that there is a disc out there that has no protection on it. This gives hackers a great opportunity too hack the Xbox 360. The disc contains 4 full games they say, but thats hard to believe.

The team was called Team PI. anyone confirm?

Yeah, it was uploaded on some torrent sites but was just a fake release being spread. Something about playing a demo for a minute then switching discs because the demo's didn't use signed xbe's.

I think I saw a movie on that where the guy quickly took out the game and put the burned game in and quickly spun it as if it was in the whole time and I guess the Xbox took it but it was hard to tell...
