My friends been having computer troubles lately some really wacked out shit was goin on which seemed to be virus activity and indeed it was. I ran the mcafee stand alone antivirus scanner and it deleted a bunch of shit, but task manager is still disabled. Heres the hijack this log

EDIT: I just checked the log on that checker site and its found some quite a bit of shit, so thats taken care of but do you guy have any suggestions for anything else I could do? Just ran norton... it picked up 6 things deleted em, rebooted... task manager is still disabled. I checked the registry and the disabletaskmanager registry havlue is set to 0 so I really dont know whats goin on.

1st remember to shutdown at least temporarily system restore. After thats all sorted. I mean virus & malware free. Then do a repair install.

That's OK then. Cause when you're getting rid of malware, some of it can hide in system restore points.

Other scanners: virus, trojan & malware. Then when it's clean. Didn't I just say this a couple posts ago? A repair install.

Yup after "My friends been having computer troubles lately some really wacked out shit was goin on which seemed to be virus activity and indeed it was. I ran the mcafee stand alone antivirus scanner and it deleted a bunch of shit, but task manager is still disabled." After everything has been washed, cleaned etc. The registry going to fd up. So other than a fresh install. This is best.
