    Hey im looking for decent software, preferably with a crack/keygen that i can use to make funky avatars from video clips

    i have searched, and dont get me wrong i can find some software but i want to know if anyone else out there has any software that they think i good, easy to use, effective, whatever.....................

    Extract the frames from your video file with virtualdub (it's freeware) then get Jasc animation Shop 3 off this topic

    you can also just use AnimatioShop3 for small videos (1-2 minutes) and just extract frames that way. Depends on how much RAM you have.
    512MB will be stable. 1GB will keep the program from overloading.
