Burning iso With Nero with DVD+RW discs

Hello,
I am trying to get an iso onto my DVD+RW disc.
I searched this forum to find out what to do.... By going to recorder & burn image... Simple I thought but when I tell it to burn it comes up with a box saying......

Sorry, your compilation cannot be written onto this type of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disc!

It then says that it needs a CD-w/rw
& that my disc is a DVD+RW

GRRRRR What do I do.... HELP ME PLS!!!!

just use a regular cdr instead of an RW. they only cost about 5 cents anyways. Sorry I cant help as I dont use RW's

EDIT, just saw your looking for DVD....doh! well, maybe the same applies, dont use an RW, maybe nero dont like them.

/me will just tiptoe out of here cuz its now apparent that I have no clue

Hi gillian7, a suggestion...
perhaps, your burner setting is on cd-r/rw
and you inserted a dvd/rw(which would give you that blue message)
just go to nero express, and look in top right area, a pull down
and selection on a multi-burner will be available
change setting from cd/r to dvd/rw
nero can automatically set burn speeds on disks but will not
change from different media automatically.

There is a dropdown box on the upper left corner of Nero's screen as you open up the application. Are you certain that you have the correct medium selected within the "New Compilation" box? Select "open" and search for the image format you wish to burn.
