always annoying
I just found out that my Home Theater plays Subtitles with my Dld. Tv Series,
and does it quite well.
For testing,
I burned a TV Episode with its .smi subs,
both files in a folder; and it worked fine.
Ok, my question is,
if I burn let's say, ten episodes with its subs, on a Disc,
will the HT play them?
or should I make a folder for every single episode and its subs?
and also,
can I include two sub files,
one for english and another for spanish?

I have cool stars
are these like mpg4 avi's? what kind of home theater are u talking bout??
i have a phillips dvp 642, and when i 1st got it, the only way i could get subs is to encode it into the video. that's annoying. so i looked online, and phillips released a firmware update so it now works with srt's. what i do is i put 1 avi, and say srt's in 3 languages. i go to the disc menu, scroll to the srt i want, and press the sub button. then play and it shows the subs.

Ok Abu,
I have the Samsung HT-P38 Home Theater,
And it says that it only plays .smi subtitles, so I conver my subs to that format.
So I arange my folder like this
--(folder)ST E
-Ent S1 Ep2.avi
-Ent S1 Ep2.smi
And it plays fine.
