I just had a laptop hard drive die on me, so I was going to take it out and connect it up to an external usb case.

I noticed that it would not connect to the standard ide ribbon cable.

Where can I find an adapter for it?

I'm not sure what keywords to google for.

Click for more activation options, then activate by telephone. Run the keygen.
if I call them, aren't they going to get me? (you know, down there)

Sorry for the late response. It is on the verge of being dead. It will boot in the laptop once every six times.

I was going to save the mydocuments folder.

oh, makes sense, but also before you trash it, I was having those problems too with a hard drive, and after defragging, scanning again and again, I actually found no problems, so I zeroed the drive completley, not the first and last million sectors, then entire drive to 0's and its working perfectly now, and btw thanks clocky all is well.
