Thread: What do you burn to make a bootable windows 2000 Cd?

    just print screen, unless you have some 3rd party app for screenshots
    then open up Paint and hit paste

    That filename is missing the extension. Change the way Windows displays filenames.

    Open 'My Computer'>Tools>Folder Options...>View> Now remove the checkmark for [ ] Hide extensions for known file types. Click ok.

    Now at least when you tell us a filename we'll see what it is.


    Now about the "image"... You don't seem to have a bootable image file. You will have to make it bootable: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=297

    Or an easier way would be to burn all those files to a CD as data. It won't be bootable but you could then boot from diskettes: http://www.bootdisk.com/

    when i go into my computer theres no tools. Im on windows 98 SE by the way so i dont know what to do.


    How do i make the image? I have Nero on this PC so how i would burn the image? Is the set up.exe the image?

    Looks like you got about the same thing....

    at the risk of a single CD-R, and to humor me,
    go into Nero and select all those files and burn em
