I have some files and they are .r01, r02, etc. These are usually winrar archive file types, now, my issue is that I have some files that have 47 or more files, and winrar is associated with all up to r29, after that, the files just look like unknown file type and are not winrar files. i use winrar 3.51. Anyone got a clue as to why its like that?

Maybe they're corrupt? Can you redownload just those?

I considered the corrupt aspect, but they unpack just fine when i click the r00 file for unpacking the whole archive. It just didnt used to be like that before. its just strange. All the files that are part01, part02, etc are fine, only the r00 files do this.

It's normal. If you look in 'My Computer'>Tools>Folder Options>File types. Scroll down to 'R' and you'll see the file associations stop at R29. It's set that way by default by WinRAR.
