Spy Sheriff

I have some new bit of scumware on my computer that is really a pain in the rear. Every few seconds it pops up a warning that I am infected with something, also pops up web pages trying to sell something called Spy Sheriff. Has anyone hear of this and have any idea how to get rid of it? I have ran ad-aware and spybot but no luck. Thanks.
