    i am having problems with I.E. and firefox. some of the sites that i visit wont load properly. they start to load then start to flicker and then i get the page cannot find server .the things that i have done to try and cure this are
    1 run a scan with spybot search and destroy
    2 i am running spywareblaster
    3 i have done a scan with ad-aware
    4 i have cleared my cookie cache
    5 i have done a dns flush
    i am using avg7 and keep that updated
    i have done a scan with hijack this if anybody can read the log for me i dont know what to remove and what to leave.

    Post the HJT log here and change your antivirus.

    Well the log appears clean.

    Just one thing. Toolbars slow down IE - do you use both/either Google and Yahoo toolbars?
    I don't personally like extra toolbars. I have links to Google searches on my default IE Links bar so I have no need of them.

    thanks for having a look at the log. i dont use any of the toolbars and i have just removed them.
    i am thinking about uninstalling I.E. and install a fresh copy to see if this will make any difference.
