Yeah a new Slayer album is going to be badass. Coincidently there has been alot of old timers releasing new albums recently. Metallica is releasing another that is supposed to be out soon... MegaDeth released a new one rather recently. Hell even PearlJam has another coming very soon that is supposed to be as heavy as their first albums...

Is it true? Are we finally seeing the end of the grunge era, and the slew of whiny protege's dying out leaving way for metal to take its rightful place on the throne again?
