    Just get Powerquest drive image, and make an image of your HD .
    I had to use it two times.
    I had a crash 2 months ago and rebooting didn`t do anything, so i was glad i made an image just the week before the crash.
    After that i got a nasty virus and the image safed me again.
    System:
    LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
    Xfx 7900gt extreme
    2x Maxtor 250gb sata
    2x Maxtor 80gb (p)ata
    2x 512mb mem , dual channel
    Tagan 580w psu
    Coolermaster stacker case
    Zalman reserator 1

    Don`t forget to make a bootdisk with Drive image
