I want to play CS online either 1.5, 1.6 or Condition Zero without spending any money
-tried with 1.6 it says my client dll differs from server
-tried with condition zero said invalid cd key
....
So there is some way i can play these games online without paying?
updating files?
dowloading steam? but how do i get my orginal steam account?

you MUST buy counterstrike to play it.....with 1.6 i think you just buy that game seprate now. or online.. with counter strike source you can either buy it online or buy HL2 which comes with it...i dont know if you can buy counter strike souce seprate now...but bottom line is you MUST pay for these games to play online.

You can purchase CSS and DODS stand alones now, there olny 35$ here in canada.

yeah i just saw DOD and CSS stand alone too... just get that then... and yeah there is no way in playing css for free unless you play LAN or got like an earilier NON steam version of 1.6 which then it would be only like 3 servers in israel so yeah GO BUY IT!

What's the point in getting the standalone packs when you can get the CS:S pack that comes with CSS, HL2DM and DoDS for the same price (as least its the same price over here)?

Good luck with out paying , friends I know have bought the game, installed while smoking a doobie then forgot their password .One ended up paying anouther $10.00 us to reset his password . That Steam seems a tuff nut to crack .

I have no credit card to buy it online... If I tried to buy in this country probably the cd key is already in use
