My tutor has sent me a link to a streaming file of the film I made but it is hosted within my University network so you'd need to be a Plymouth student to view it. How can I save the stream to my PC so I can upload it elsewhere?

What format is the video?Originally Posted by Mike Nelson
Try searching the webpage's sourcecode for .wmv or the extension the file uses, the copy and paste it's source link into your browser and it should promt to download it. If it plays the source video within your browser still, you can goto File>Save and that should grab a copy.
If you Universty has it on a webpage, you should still be able to download it.
There's also an extension for Firefox here: https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...mpg=10&id=1993

Cheers, that one doesn't seem to work. I'm thinking the password security might be getting in the way.Originally Posted by Barbarossa
