Scientologist Isaac Hayes quits ‘South Park’
Co-creator of show says singer had no trouble mocking Christians
NEW YORK - Isaac Hayes has quit “South Park,” where he voices Chef, saying he can no longer stomach its take on religion.
Hayes, who has played the ladies’ man/school cook in the animated Comedy Central satire since 1997, said in a statement Monday that he feels a line has been crossed.
“There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins,” the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken Scientologist said.

Chef's gotta do one last sexy tune. Chef didnt quit he took off to some hawt bich with his ladies afterwhitewashing money thru SP elemntary administration by heating up the latina economics accountant
maybe he was pushed out for representing the only intelligent person in that society (and hes black)
to fill the ethnic quota he will be replaced by stereotype number two - south park pimp
being famous as a voice over has which merits?
there is more to the story?

Sadly, the end of Chef probably spells the beginning of the end of South Park.
