Thread: Can I share my disk with other network computer?

    Question Mark

Recently upgraded to Win XP Pro and set up wireless networking on 2 home computers. I would like to share programs from one computer to the other. Actually if it's possible I would like to access the C:/ drive. Can anyone explain to me how to do this?

    Yes you can:

My Computer >> Right Click Drive >> Sharing and Security.

You will be given a warning message that sharing an entire drive over the network is risky, but you can click the link and bybass the warning. Then just check the box in the middle that says "Share this folder on the network." Then Apply.

You can also run programs off of another computer's CD\DVD drives if you have none installed.
