Well it's clear it won't be as powerful as the PS3 and Xbox 360 but I think it's misleading to simply compare the raw mhz between the Xbox and Revolution. Speeds maybe similar but architecture is completely different. For example, the Xbox basically had off the shelf PC components but the Revolution will have chips customised for video gaming. I guess we'll see how the fancy controller goes at E3 before I make any sweeping judgements.

ALSO THE BOX IS LITTLE MORE THAN A FASTER GAMECUBE.

it's all about the motion-sensor/lightgun/remote controller thing and internet features. there is nothing special under the hood except more horses, it's a gamecube, it's a gamecube, fuck reggie, it's a gamecube. but faster.

It's not rly much faster, just a newer and more efficient architecture.

    I think it's a no-brainer to buy if you don't have a Gamecube since it's backward compatible.

I, however, will skip it. A female I fooled around with bought me the GC in the first place. Otherwise I probably would have never bought one around that time.

animal crossing was good. but the ds version is better (even though it's almost a straight-up port; it's just got little improvements that make the game more enjoyable, less tedious, etc).

seeing how it's backwards compatible with the gamecube games i'll just get rid of my gamecube and upgrade to this. meh. it'll be worth it in the end. especially @ $199.99 or less.
