In My Computer:
Tools > Options > Folder Options
Click the "File Types" tab. Find "ISO" under "Extensions" and under "File Types" it ought to say "CD Image File".
Then select ISO and click "Change".

You need a program that can open .iso files, like WinISO. When you install it, it'll automatically set up the correct file associations. If you think you already have a program that can open .isos, hold the Shift key while you right-click on it and select 'Open With...'. Then select the program you want to use.
