    a friend of mine has a similar computer, the proccessor is a dualcore, but of similar speed, and he has exactly the same graphics card, and he has no problems with oblivion on high settings. I don't imagion that you should.

    Well, the copy I got was suffering from a CRC error. So now I have to wait for a replacement. ARGH

    I'm on 512 ADSL, it will take too long. I can get a new copy in the next two days.

    By the way, I forgot to mention I'm planning on running the game without AA/AF...Will that make a big performance difference?

    You can't use AA anyhow if you plan to have HDR lighting on.

    You can't use AA anyhow if you plan to have HDR lighting on.
    I heard the 1900xt cards use AA with HDR... unless thats the 7900 GTX. I know it's one of them.

    yes, the x1900xtx does. not nVidia.

    OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (Build 2600)
    Video card: Radeon 9600 pro 512mb

    Will it run the game ok?
    also what should I replace in the near future and with what?
