I recently noticed in Gmail that you can do the same tricks as in this forum
such as inserting images [IMG] [/IMG] in the text.
My question is do other email's (non gmail) see the image or do they require special additions?

That's actually a really good question. I have no idea myself (gmail user) and most people I know use it too...so...hmmm...everyone just get gmail.

I would say it depends on what mail provider/mail client you're using.
In Evolution (mail client for Linux) I have disabled images in incoming mails.

Also, in my 30gigs-account I can't see images at all. I only get a referrance to them.
I think it's smart to disable images, because malicious people (like myself) can attach a cookie stealer.

I have tried attaching a cookie stealer myself, and it worked pretty good.
