I'm looking to find this kind of mouse.

It is USB connected so I can plug it in the front ports of the computer

    It is wireless.

The mouse part is actually like a remote control. You click the remote control and it acts like a mouse click.

I'd be using it to do things like powerpoint presentations so I don't have to be at the computer to go to the next slide.

I'm sure its available but I don't know what kinds of keywords to search for.

Click for more activation options, then activate by telephone. Run the keygen.
if I call them, aren't they going to get me? (you know, down there)

Sounds like a Media Centre Remote Control to me.

Yeah that one does look really good. I think I'll go with that. Although it may have one problem

    Transmission Distance: 5 meters

I'm thinking that I may be about 7 meters away from the computer. Hmm. But that is really a small step. I wonder if i'll still be safe... (its a fairly large room)
