    pretty much the same

i download at 230kB/s though, and limit it to about 200-210kB/s
and upload can do 29kB/s'ish, but i limit that to 25kB/s
if i max out my upload, my download speeds halves.
so setting it 4kB/s less gives me 100kB/s more downstream (odd, but thats the way it is)
if i max my downstream too, i get terrible pings on irc.

i leave it seeding at this speed 24/7
as my upload is much smaller than my download, its the only way i can keep good ratios.
i dont have to be very careful about how much i download.

really? Why do you guys set your uploads so low?

    I have unlimited D/L that caps out @ 250kbps
    and 58kpbs upload while downloading,
and 58+92 upload when just seeding.. cuz I don't use the extra bandwidth anyway =P.

all residential uk broadband (and most cable too) is capped at 28-30kB/s
unless u pay extra for more upload, or are on some of the newer packages offering more.

so i think 25kB/s is pretty generous
