A buddy of mine is looking to upgrade his Geforce FX 5200 Ultra graphics card, but he has an $80 budget to spend on it...

I suggested something to him, that was almost $100, but then he informed me of his $80 budget... So I went searching about and ran across this one:

I've never heard anything about Jetway, so I don't know how good their produsts are. I thought maybe someone here has had some experience with them, or maybe even might be able to suggest a better (256mb , AGP 8x) for the $80 limit.

    Thanks in advance.

The person that said in the comments for that card "Runs Battlefield on full settings", I wonder if they mean Battlefield 2, because I dont think a 256 card would be worth it for the original...

If the rest of his system made up for the card (1gb good ram, amd 3000 and above) he could run bf2 at medium low settings, BF1942 would run like a dream on that card.

Tell him to save for a while, theres no point in buying a ancient gfx card.

He was pretty adament about wanting to just upgrade the Gfx card, so I suppose I'll just suggest the one I posted here, and hope that he likes it.
    Thanks for the input though.

True, but what he wants to do is like upgrading from a brick to a slightly smaller brick...there both pretty much useless. If he can hold tight and not blow his money for a few months...he could go alot farther with 150-200$

If it's not too late, this should be slightly better since it supports OpenGL 1.5. GDDR2 memory will probably OC better too. Only 15c more after shipping, but this one also has a $10 mail-in rebate.
