    Do you favour circling it with the highlighter pen, or puting a straight line across the thing you want to highlight.

    if I have a highlighter around I will go through it, easy to have it stand out that way.
    If all I have is pen then I underline or circle sometimes.

    Highlighter pen, through it, ordinary pen, circle it, get rid of it, ordinary pen through it....sorta thing

    I agree, on one condition.

    When you use the ordinary pen method, do you also put an astronaut in the margin?

    Using an ordinary pen results in an enlightening exploration into my psyche for a psychologist, as invariably it is full of doodles and ickle piccies.
