Do as I said already in this thread. Take your cartridge(s) to a local mall and look for refill centers. They refill them for you.

It's also best to refill them before they are completely empty. Running them empty burns out the print head.

Yah, I meant the usb cable was included.

And thx for the tip VB, cuz the replacement cartridges cost a whopping $29 for color and $19 for black:

at that price I'll just buy a new printer with 2 cartridges @ only $39 bucks.

Yeah but did you know that the cartridges that come with the printer may not be full? Some printers include "starter" cartridges.

With mine (altho this was about 8 years ago) it came with 20mm color and black cartridges instead of 40mm ones.

Also seedler, don't complain too much, mine are 39.99 each

    Starter Cartridges? 20mm ones? Shit.

    Take a look, I think I have 20mm ones instead of 40mm one ...

The cartridge on the left is the color one, and the one on the right is black.

Did you clean the heads? Maybe they shrunk in the wash.

BTW, I wasn't recommending head-in-cart technology, I was criticising it. Sorry if you got hold of the wrong end of the stick.

Why I'd love to get a head from Jessica Alba in a cart, that's a great technology.
