Looking for a mp3 p2p program with no spyware?

I also need one thats fairly easy to use, since its for my computer illerate sister...we used to use Kazza but it was loaded with spyware


Soul Seek never really worked for some reason...

If you want to download individual mp3's try Frostwire. Same as Limewire but with all the spyware/adware taken out.

For full albums BitTorrent is best but a bit more involved than Frostwire.

I've tried emule and Ares, they both seem nice for individual MP3s. Used to use WinMX all the time, but after the shutdown, I don't know the condition of their network anymore. Sad to see it go.

try limewire.... go to download.com then search limewire...

http://www.manolito.com/ Only searches music files. No adware/spyware you only get a little popup when it starts asking you to upgrade to the pro version (which isnt really necessary since the free version works fine)

Shareaza is a nice P2P program, I always got good speeds with that.

Then I found out that torrents exist and that downloading 3GB+ programs/games was possible, so I switched to torrents.

Shareaza - just for music and small files

Torrents - Large files and files you might not find on p2p networks

Emule - for rare files you cant find anywhere else (use as a last resort)
