Thread: RoadRunner's retention... any thoughts?

  1. #1
I'm trying to get some files off of alt.binaries.howard-stern and I could only get stuff from yesterday.

Not even a file from 2 days ago is there!

    WTF!!!

I switched from Verizon to RR because it's much faster but shit this sucks! Verizon had a 10-day retention.

    Fuck!

Is there anything I can do other than switching ISPs or paying for usenet?

    This really sucks...

That's a question you already know the answer to.
There is nothing you can do if you service has crappy retention but live with it or get another.

Most ISP newsgroups suck ass. Shitty rentension and completion rates. Nothing you can really do except pay for usenet.
    blah blah blah... whatever...
