    Hi guys
in a few days I might go to on a couple of vacations,
so for the first time since I bought it, I think it would be a good idea to get a memory card for
my Samsung Digimax 301, cus 16 mb of internal might not be enough.
So I went to a few websites and this is what I found:

    -128Mb : $10 Panasonic
    -512Mb : $13 Patriot Sig...
    ----1G : $19 PQI

    -at Frys / US Dlls)

At the moment Im not on a big budget,
that's the reason for the low prices.

From Samsung's figures you can store about 160 photos at 1600x1200 superfine quality on a 128MB card.

I can't think of many reasons why you would want to take many vacation photos at that sort of resolution/quality, or why you would want to keep more photos than that - people will find you boring if you show more photos than that.

The trick is to take a few photos of each subject, then review them later and delete all but the best. Professional photographers do exactly that, before digital photography they had to keep them all. A few still keep all their shots just in case there's something in the background they missed which may later prove to be newsworthy, but for the average user that's just a waste of time.

The patriot seem the best value.

    OK, to be more accurate, 8 x 128MB / 6MB = 170, but who's that picky?
