Go half way down the page. Enter your OS,Update Severity Rating & Bulletin release date. I just downloaded critical update (KB918439). I used Opera & FlashGet. So nobody needs shit to download at least critical updates for Windows.
This might work for non critical updates too! Let me know.

If one doesn't auto updates on & doesn't want to use IE & wants to get updates directly from M$. And ad infinitum of BS from M$.

I came home from work one day to find it had installed itself on my computer and I had a nag screen telling me I may be the victim of software pirating bla bla bla couldn't uninstall it so I restored to the day before and all was good for about two updates now nada. and when I try to manualy update at the website nothing happens so it's kind of pissing me off. though I guess I could follow microsofts advice and fill out a piracy report and get a legal version of xp at a reduced cost...Originally Posted by Chewie UK
