Thread: What have you mostly been doing today then?

  1. #1

    Cool

    Freetime related leisure time thread.
"If you don't get some, then you need to sort it, you working class hero"

I've just been mostly sorting out the front garden, A bit of a mess.

As i'm on the main road towards the beach,
people stop and make comment "Fuck, your garden looks a mess!"
    or just to say Hi.
The main conversation is normally the weather or property prices

have you had some Freetime related leisure stuff today?

Boring household chores, research for impending college interview, took Cheese his lunch, looked around the charity shops for a copy of "Red Dragon", watched "Coach Trip" on channel 4 where some aging queens were getting their knickers in a twist over David Ginola, and am going to a meeting this evening which has been stupidly arranged at the same time as the England match.

    Funny that...

my bf did exactly the same thing to our bathroom.

I'll need to go shopping for a bikini then.
    Any cool shops down there?

Scotland isn't exactly the best place to get your swimming gear

jeeez you got a house by the beach! you lucky bstrd, if it where me i wouldnt give ashit what they say, just point at the beach and say "you got that?"
why not simply fill it with sand?, or a caravan atleast (++pplus a wrecked car for good measure)i pray you at least surf/windsurf
but i know what you mean about garden paranoia in relation to neighbours
so i set out to screw with their minds, recently planted 50 fake flowers, then 30 sypresse, and willl soon make a fake construction indicating a new building/swimming pool etc

doing anything usefull while watching a baby is difficult task....

    @ 100%, QUOTE: fake flowers
i'm glad i'm not the only one who's done that.

I'm quite lucky with my neighbours as most of them are on their holidays,
i'm surrounded with Self-catering holiday houses, I don't mind, I get to see some nice people.

I've been designing new e-tickets for my company on Foxit PDF Editor. Bored to death now and am starting to fall asleep.

    I went shopping today.

Bought present for my bf ( for being mental gf for the last few months, kinda want to say thanks for not runnung away to dark Africa)

Bought Canary Island Palm and little ivy plant for the house

Bought new bunch of flowers for the table

Went food shopping. Am making lemon ginger chicken exotic stirfry today (yumyum)

Removed disgustingly ugly glass coffee table out of house into garage only to discover I desperately need a dark rug to cover up all wine stains in living room
