Have you used Free Download Manager (FDM)- http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

If u have, do u know how to solve the following issue:

When I press 'Save Target As' , FDM kicks off and tries to download the file with FDM. How can I ensure that this does not happen.

Is n't that the whole idea ? What browser are you using IE ?


Check 'Options-Default download settings ' see if you can change it there .

I don't use it. But most have an option like hold down control key to bypass down load manager.
