Got an interview for a 'proper' job on thursday...

Got to be there for 10.30 and my interview is at 5pm (I am assuming I will get fed and watered, and probably a bit of a guided tour sorta thing)

I have to give a 10 minute presentation on:

'my research, summarising methods used, and showing its relevance to the Policy Oriented Social Sciences agenda.'

    feck!

Given the timetable as outlined, one suspects there may be more to it than a 10 minute presentation and an interview.

jobs come and go, as long as you find the right one or else make your own.

Public policy research...case studies, analysis using largely qualitative tools, literature review, write papers, reports etc. Contribute generally...which means a bit of dissertation supervision, the odd seminar and maybe a bit of teaching....which would be nice.

It is a public policy/social sciences project, something to do with examining the influence on society of central government's policy towards social control....amongst other things...

I have lost the fucking notes I wrote when I phoned them up for more info.....bollocks.... :hic: They were good notes as well, about 4 pages...bollocks, bollocks, bollocks....

    You'll do fine, sArA-this I know.
