Thread: U-Torrent 1.6 Stable Help With Settings!!!

    Hi There

    I have slight problem with U-torrent Stable 1.6, i was wondering what range of port numbers i should be using with u-torrent and can you help me with ant other settings??.

    only use 1 port nr. (i use 1200)

    what problem do you have?

    im currently getting slow speeds and i have a 1MB broadband but i get 2-7kb a sec its rely slowwww

    i thought between 5000-6000 works only with ports?????

    speed depends on how many people are seeding. you can use any port you want. (if you have a router you need to port forward it)

    Utorrent:
    options -> preference -> network.

    select: Enable UPnP port mapping....
    select: add utorrent to windows firewall....

    good advice m8 your problem is most likely your ports the client your using shouldn't make much of a difference. The only other thing it could be is if your IP provider is limiting Bittorrent. In that case you need to enable encryption

    Hi there

    im tryin to download Insideman axxo movie, its a 700mb file and im only speeding up to 3-6kb a sec! when theres abt 1000+ seeders!!, im not sure why im slow at speed cuz i have a 1MB broadband can you help! me, please reccommend me a accurate settings or some way so i can boost my speeds.
