Merging Doc or Rtf files

I was wondering if anybody knows of any software for merging documents together(spefically rtf files).

The actual scenario is:

I need to scan many multipage documents, and when I scan each page, its scanned into a single RTF file. So assuming the document is 30 pages long, I don't mind manually scanning each page, but I was hoping that there was a software that could merge them all together?(preferably freeware).

So far I've only managed to find monkey merge, but that's shareware.

I'm kinda hoping anybody who has experience with scanning documents can perhaps give me a couple of pointers, hehe

Urmm, thats cause there's a lotta documents(30 Pages was just an example), and it needs to be done on a regular basis.Its kinda time wasting to copy paste each page manually :s

Was just wondering if there was a software solution for it, thats all
