rap - the reason being that hiphop is the best form of exressin in music, oviosly there is shit hiphop which tends to get more exposure to none hiphop fans e.g. 50 cent, but if you were to listen to the likes of talib kweli, mos def, nas and other knowlagable rappers, you will see rap is not a music type it is a form of life

Silly question really.
Why limit your musical tastes by only liking one or the other.I like both as much,it just depends on my mood.
I hear alot of people saying RAP is crap but if you take your blinkers off you might be surprised.
Music is music thats all.

i mostly listen to rock type stuff and prefer rock, but sometimes feel like some rap and put it on . i nmy opinion rock is better, but rap is alright too

a lot of you have the most ignorant view i have ever seen , especially the guy saying all rappers sound like the black guy of pulp fidtion, come on thats ridiculaus, and btw another thing yes a lot of hiphop is played with instruments, e.g the roots!
how can you say rap is just talking, dumbfucks! have you never heard of rhyming patterns
anyway, go ahead and live life with ignorance, see where it gets you
