    Question Mark

Mark IV = too cool to use unless gigging or until I move into bigger place, not to mention the shitload of accesories I need to buy for it (around 5,000 dollars worth).

So for now, I need a good practice amp, preferabbly tube (solid states suck balls to be honest), and 40-75watts, less than $1,000 canadian after taxes (including pedals if they are required, see below). Any good suggestions?

Oh and lemme know if the overdrive/distortion on the tube amp is good/bad, if it's bad, what overdrive/distortion pedal would go good with it?

    Thanks.

goddamn, for $1000CAD you could get a pretty sweet non-practice amp.

here are 2 peavey practice amps, one lower-end and one higher-end. my friend has the less-expensive one, and i can tell you the disto on it is great.

    Peavey TransTube Rage 158 1x8 15W $87.99 USD

    Peavey TransTube Bandit II 112 1x12 100W $379.99 USD

good luck. it's usually best to play any piece of gear you're going to be buying, but with practice amps it's not that big of a deal i guess.

Thank lee, ya 1000 is a lot I know but I"m just letting you know my limit (not like I'm actually going to spend 1,000 dollars but then again...)
