Thread: Heroes

  1. #1
It was only right that we had a counter to the "Villain Topic". I think this could be open to a lot more variety because of anti-hero characters. I'm going to think about this for a bit and post later, maybe i'll be inspired by another post. But I'm torn between about 5 candidates at the moment - sleep could help!!

Looking forward to reading your posts.

Well my personal hero must be T.S. Garp from John Irving's "The World According to Garp"
Ok, he's not the 'Indiana Jones'-type of hero , but cool nevertheless

My favourite hero( if u can call it that way ) must be Rincewind, the wizard from the Discworld Novels. Well, technically it's more of an anti-hero, but still, he saved the Discworld several times

I didn't know Ayn Rand, Leon Uris, or Neil Gaiman were heroes.

    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter

Dirk Gently, also from Douglas Adams. His Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency. Haven't read it in a long time so the title may not be quite right, but I will correct it when I find it if no one beats me to it(JPaul(formerly known as Jmif?)) How things change in just 2 weeks
    Peace of mind Findnot
