I have a PS/2 keyboard and one of the pins twisted and broke off inside the port

I cant get it out no matter what I try because the end is so short.

I do have a usb keyboard for back up but I like freeing up my 6 usbports (too lazy to connect the front 2).

    So...how do i get it out...any suggestions?

Try a little super glue on the end of a paper clip. Try not to glue the clip to the socket, just the pin. The easiest way to get the glue on the very end of the paperclip only is to put some glue onto a piece of paper first then dip the clip into it and glue it to the stuck pin. There are several sizes of paperclips to choose from, test it with no glue first to find the best size.

Super glue worked, but only after finding a sewing needle from mom and practicing a stable hand like 20 times.

    Ty all.

Btw, VB smacking it didn't work It made my gfx come loose

LOL I was going to suggest the same idea but thought it sounded a little odd.Its almost like the trick to pull out a damaged speaker ( the old pencil and dab of glue ..pull out...then twist and remove pencil )Should be listed in the parents book of odd tricks and quick fixes....
