I am trying to install MS Office 2003 and it won't let me! I am running XP Pro with SP2. i have tried different versions of MS Office 2003 to make sure the one i was trying was not corrupt. On one version, it just comes up with an error message and the other version seems to be installing, then rolls back with no warning and then just disappears without installing.

However, on my other pc, it works all fine, installs with no problems. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance

Here they suggest moving/renaming/deleting the file mscoree.dll from system32 directory.

    It doesn't hurt to try.
