    Hi guys,

Is there a free usenet service that i can try before i sign up for a paid version, the reason im asking is that im not sure how it all works but i would like to try and use it first before i buy, then if i dont like it ive not wasted my money, if i do like it than ill pay for a usenet.
    Many thanks.

Virtually all the major Usenet newsgroup companies provide a FREE 'check it out' account, either/or for a few days (usually three or thereabouts) or for x-megabytes, ect.

Who is your ISP? Most (admittadley not all) offer a minimal usenet service of some kind (sometimes VERY minimal) but go check the majors if you're really interested.
