Adaware, Spybot and Registry Mechanic not loading

Ok, i apologise now if this is in the wrong section of the forum.

I recently installed Registry Cleaner and it installed Deskbar with it. Well after removing this manually going through the registry etc, then doing a virus scan which found some more little surprises for me. I unistalled registry cleaner in protest as well.

The problem is that now, Adaware, Registry Mechanic and Spybot do not load at all. They flicker and then seem to go ignorant and disappear. They are not showing as being loaded on the task manager either. This has only happened since i installed Registry Cleaner. And yes next time, i will read the EULA.

Any suggestions?

scrub that, i gave my pc some evils and it worked. dunno what happened there!
