Straight life cover or as a savings vehicle.

The one that pays out when either hun boy or I die. Preferably with critical illness cover as well.

OK. What you want is a life insurance policy that pays out when either hun boy or you die, which contains critical illness cover as well.

Big Les is an accountant - but I believe he works in the civil service, so that immediately negates him from being useful in any real sense.
