Pictures Not Working In Counterstrike?

i just started playing counter strike and the game works almost perfectly. The only problem i have is that when i have the menu to choose my gun or what my player should look like i dont get the pictures. anyone know how to fix this?

U dont really need the pictures, i dont use the VGUI menu, i just use the old style
