I have a dual monitor system, one Viewsonic LCD as my primary and a Viewsonic CRT as my secondary, however I JUST can't seem to get the colour between the two for fullscreen video to be exactly the same. The secondary always seems just a bit paler than the primary...Anything I can do to sort this out?

He is right, it will never be dead on unless you are using the same monitor. Matching 2 lcd's would be easier instead of doing a lcd/crt.
Fun fact for the day:"Americans on average eat 18 acres of pizza every day. "

Correct, but you can always check if the colortempatures are correct, does alot about the color.

See if you can get colour profiles for the monitors.

If so, you should be able to set or adjust them to give the same output
    .
Political correctness is based on the principle that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I had a 2004 19" LCD joined with a 1999 17" Compaq CRT and I adjusted the color profile for DAYS. The LCD technology is just.....too....beatiful...
    It can't be done.
You can get them somewhat in there...but you'll end up with one bright ass CRT just for the sake of having slightly similare colors. The Darks and the Lights never seem to stay Dark and Light at the same time on CRT...just on LCD (wOOt, still gotz ma NEW 21" LCD for $100. Traded the 19" in after using it for 3 years...gotz de SyncMaster 215tw 21" and stillz luvin itz.)

Oh yes, back to the CRT+LCD hookup....yea I stopped that.
After 2 weeks, It got annoying.
Plus I use 1680x1050 res now anyways.

moral is...only join LCDs. Even joining 2 CRTs will probably suck, because you've got twice the heat blowin in your face.

I did have two LCDs at one point, but that didn't work, the colour was way, way off. The one just looked too pale.
