Thread: Control Panel not showing all installed softwares

  1. #1
I reecently had to uninstall zonealarm pro due to some system problems and after doing so only a few of my installed softwares were shown..My computer still has all these softwares but why can't I see them in the applet? Does anyone know how to make these softwares visible in the Control Panel applet again,
There are so few that I don't even have a scroll bar.

Thanks in advance for your comments

What types of system problems did you have that made you uninstall Zonealarm?

Did you use any "cleaner" type apps recently"

Weird I look upon TU2006 as almost idiot proof. Never had problems with it.

What? When I run it's RegCleaner I've noticed it tries to delete my Outpost regkey for Add/Remove progs. Besides other progs like CCleaner's reg issues fix...well...it goes "fix" happy ALOT.

Yup. That's my experience as well. I use the 1-Click Maintenance all the time.

If you used a Regcleaner try running the backup utility to replace the Reg keys .
If an application is not registered, it is not listed in Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

You had a virus or ?
